Belize City, Belize, September 13, 2023 — The Belize Tourism Board is delighted to share that Belize is featured once again in The Manual. The magazine is considered the essential guide for men on how to live a life that is more engaged with a reach of 3 million readers. The article, entitled, “This Belize eco-resort is literally built into the jungle and offers a uniquely local experience,” has also been syndicated on Flipboard, reaching an additional audience of 3.5+ million.
Featuring a wonderful review of Hamanasi Adventure and Dive Resort in Hopkins Village, the article refers to the eco-resort as a “guilt free paradise” that allows guests to enjoy Belize while simultaneously offsetting the tourism impact on surrounding ecosystems. The article goes on to state that “Hamanasi looks to provide you with a way to understand how your travel impacts the world around you. When you book a stay, you are not only getting a world-class luxurious getaway that will change your mindset and rejuvenate you, but you also get to do all that knowing you are not only not having a negative footprint, but you are helping to regenerate the world around you.”
The Manual featured Belize in a total of two articles which resulted from a media visit to the destination by the editor in July of this year. The first article was published in late August 2023, titled, “San Pedro, Belize may have the #1 Lobster Fest on earth – here’s why.” Coverage like this adds to Belize’s reputation as an eco-conscious destination and highlights our country’s efforts towards sustainable tourism..
