Dr. Eric Bradley, Head of Internal Medicine at the KHMHA, was one of the first two internists who led the charge in the hospital’s fight against COVID-19 in the newly created COVID-19 unit. Since the 3rd of April 2020, he has remained at the forefront, solidifying his position as the single Doctor who has managed the most critical of COVID-19 patients. The COVID-19 Unit, designed to care for the moderate to severe cases, has managed 700 admitted cases to date. Dr. Bradley has faced the worst case scenarios on many levels, but has always remained professional, respectful and committed to the care of his patients. Throughout countless days and nights, Dr. Bradley and his inspired team have stayed beyond their designated hours to ensure that all patients received the care that they needed. This unassuming, humble and dedicated Doctor deserves all the accolades and recognition that are due to him. Dr. Eric Bradley was born in Belize City and is a medical graduate from the Universidad Mariano Gálvez de Guatemala. He has been practicing medicine in Belize since 2014.
