Belize and United Airlines Announce New Non-stop Flight from San Francisco

Belize City, Belize, June 28, 2024 – Belize, a haven for adventure seekers and culture and nature enthusiasts, continues to attract visitors in record-breaking numbers. With this growing popularity, the Belize Tourism Board (BTB) and United Airlines are thrilled to announce a new seasonal non-stop flight route between San Francisco International Airport (SFO) and the Philip Goldson International Airport (BZE) in Belize City, Belize. Beginning Saturday, December 21, 2024, travelers from the Bay Area will enjoy a convenient and seamless way to experience the magic of Belize with this new service.

Anthony Mahler, Minister of Tourism and Diaspora Relations. “This new route opens a world of possibilities for travelers seeking adventure, relaxation, and cultural immersion in a remarkable and unique destination. We are confident this new flight will significantly boost tourism arrivals from the San Francisco Bay area and further strengthen the ties between Belize and the United States of America.”

In addition to providing non-stop service from Northern California, the timing of this new flight will also allow for unique one-stop connections (in both directions) on United to Belize from Asian cities like Taipei, Hong Kong, and Singapore, European cities like London and Frankfurt, and even South Pacific cities such as Sydney and Melbourne. 

This will be United’s fifth hub with non-stop service to Belize, with the airline also operating multiple daily flights from Houston as well as seasonal flights from New York/Newark, Denver, and Chicago. The new San Francisco service is now bookable on united.com

12/21/24 to 1/6/25 and 3/6/25 to 3/30/25 

• Departs: San Francisco at 12:30 am
• Arrives: Belize International at 7:54 am (6:54 am during daylight savings)
• Departs: Belize International at 10:15 am (9:15 am during daylight savings)
• Arrives: San Francisco at 2:24 pm
• Days: Saturdays only

3/31/25 to 4/30/25 and 5/22/25 to 8/17/25

• Departs: San Francisco at 1:10 pm
• Arrives: Belize International at 7:43 pm
• Departs: Belize International at 9:30 am
• Arrives: San Francisco at 2:24 pm
• Days: SFO to BZE Saturdays only / BZE to SFO Sundays only
