BTB offers free online webinars for tour guides and industry partners

Belize City, Tuesday, May 5, 2020:  The Belize Tourism Board (BTB) is offering a series of  FREE capacity building webinars, opened to all tourism industry stakeholders during this COVID-19  downtime.  The webinars form an integral part of the BTB’s capacity building efforts for the industry, and will focus on topics relevant to preparing the industry for reopening when travel is deemed safe.

The first webinar will be held on Monday, May 11 and each session will be delivered by subject matter experts, for approximately 60-minutes in duration. Stakeholders can attend and participate from the comfort of your home using a computer or mobile device. As the tourism industry continues to face unprecedented challenges resulting from COVID-19, it is important for stakeholders to use this current downtime to prepare and take advantage of training opportunities such as these, for when travel resumes and the industry begins its rebuilding efforts.

We look forward to maximum participation and urge stakeholders to continue following social distancing protocols and health and safety directives issued by the Ministry of Health.
