JetBlue Begins Direct Flight from New York to Belize

Belize City, Belize, 6 December, 2023: JetBlue Airlines today began a new non-stop service between New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) and Belize’s Philip S. W. Goldson International Airport (BZE). JetBlue’s new Belize service will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays. Flight #2781 departs from New York at 8:29 a.m., landing in Belize City at 12:14 p.m. Return Flight #2784 takes off from Belize at 1:55 p.m., arriving in New York at 6:56 p.m.

Belize welcomed the first passengers on the inaugural flight today. The Belize Tourism Board is also proud to share that the inaugural flight was guided under the trusted expertise of a Belizean Pilot. A brief ceremony was held at the PGIA to celebrate the start of the flight service. Jeffrey Goodell, Vice President, Government and Airport Affairs at JetBlue was welcomed by Hon. John Briceño, Prime Minister of Belize, Hon. Anthony Mahler, Minister of Tourism and Diaspora Relations, and other government officials.
