Following receipt of a B.A. in political science from Kalamazoo College in the USA and graduate work at the London School of Economics and University of Michigan Law School, Stewart Krohn enjoyed a 32 year career in Belizean journalism beginning with Brukdown Magazine in 1977 and ending with the sale of Channel 5 Television in 2008.  Since 2002 Stewart has been active in residential and resort development on the Placencia Peninsula where the company he founded operates Naia Resort and Residences. He currently serves as President of the Belize Tourism Industry Association.
